The client, L.A. Developments, wanted a tourist attraction to help sales in the adjacent service station and restaurant. The steel structure had to approximate the finished shape of an oyster shell and seabed. GRC was sprayed onto steel mesh, which in turn was fixed to steel flex anchors welded to the steel framework.
